The Patriot Machinist Slim Extended Safety is designed for shooters who want improved control of their M&P Shield without adding unnecessary bulk. Built as a direct replacement for the factory safety, it provides a larger, easier-to-operate thumb pad while maintaining a sleek profile that's ideal for everyday concealed carry.

Compared to our Original Extended Safety, the Slim version features a thumb pad approximately 1/16 inch narrower, reducing the likelihood of printing while still offering a significant improvement over the factory safety.

Unlike our Original Extended Safety modification service, the Slim Extended Safety is manufactured in advance and normally kept in stock, allowing for fast shipping and no need to send us your factory safety.
